To take a life

Image result for a child is never a mistake
Throughout the years, many have had this controversial topic linger in their thoughts; Is Aborting a child right? Another question is the procedure of Euthanasia (Assisted Suicide) okay for adults? Now that it’s the new thing now a days.

*Number 1: God commands us “Thou shalt NOT kill” This is a commandment for the killing of one another either done by someone else or by our own hands. This is a sin! We have no authority over ones life, especially our own. We may walk and talk the way that we want, but we did not create ourselves, but we were created by the hands of our Lord Father in Heaven! He is the one that can give life and take it as well. *

Deuteronomy 5:17
“Thou shalt not kill.

1 samuel 2:6
"The LORD killeth, and maketh alive: he bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up."

*God created us in His own image, so for someone to tarnish something that is cherished so much, is utterly and completely out of life. *

Genesis 9:6
“Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.

*With abortion, people say that it is the woman’s body and she can do whatever she wants with it. That is wrong. You may be carrying the child, but you weren’t the one who formed it inside of you. Remember that Just as God knew Jeremiah as he was in his mother’s belly, he sees the same for every unborn child. To even think of destroying the Lord’s beautiful gift is absurd, and completely wicked. *

Jeremiah 1:5 (God knew of Jeremiah before he was born)
“Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

*What about women who were raped by a stranger or even worse a family relative? They can’t possibly carry that burden of shame..
It is not right for one to not only kill a human life but also to blame that child for forming inside of you. It is not right that the child has to suffer for things in life we can’t control. Matters like this turns to that mother giving that child up for adoption to a family that aren’t able to have a child of their own. There is no excuse to taking a life of a human being. *

Psalm 139:13-16“For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.14I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.15My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.”

*Something we have to think about before you think of Aborting a child or even agreeing upon the procedure of Assisted Suicide.*

(Aborting the child)
*We were all born in sin by the consequences of adam and eve’s sin of disobedience.

Psalm 51:5
5Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.”

The only way for redemption is by accepting the Lord Jesus Christ into your heart and becoming newly born again, no longer in darkness.
Now, how would a child sin when they are born, they didn’t commit any crimes, they didn’t even open their eyes yet.
The child is covered under their parent(s). If both parents are sinners, then that child is covered in the darkness of sin by the parents. But if one parent is saved, then that child will not suffer burning in hell.

1 Corinthians 7:14
For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy.

(Assisted Suicide)
*Just as it says in the Word that we shall not break the commandment (Thou shalt not kill), for if we do we will burn in hell. I have had someone tell me that if God forgives you before commit suicide then you will go to heaven.
Number 1: You are premeditating a murder. You know its wrong but you are still continuing to do the crime. God will not forgive you for taking your life.
Number 2: How can God forgive you when you’re already dead?

I want you to think back with the information that I have provided for you and ask yourself deep in your heart if you still believe in committing these acts. Take the time right now to imagine all of the children that have been rejected life by one’s so called choice. If you have children of your own, imagine if they weren’t here today, can you see yourself without your children?
And if you agree upon the practice of Assisted Suicide, imagine the pain Jesus feels, for He has bore the cross so that we can live. *

John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

The signs of the time of the Lord’s Return

 (Matthew 24:1-51)

Temple Destruction Foretold
1And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple. 2And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
3And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
4And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
False Christs
5For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. 6And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. 8All these are the beginning of sorrows.
Witnessing to All Nations
9Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.10And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. 11And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 13But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. 14And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
The Abomination of Desolation
15When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) 16Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: 17Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: 18Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. 19And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! 20But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: 21For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. 23Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here isChrist, or there; believe it not. 24For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. 25Behold, I have told you before.
The Return of the Son of Man
26Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. 27For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 28For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
29Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 30And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
The lesson of the Fig Tree
32Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer isnigh: 33So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. 34Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. 35Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
Be Ready at Any Hour
36But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. 37But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 38For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, 39And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 40Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 41Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
42Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. 43But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. 44Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
45Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? 46Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. 47Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods. 48But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;49And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken; 50The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of, 51And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

The Wedding Banquet

The Wedding Banquet

Matthew 22:1-14
“And Jesus answered and spake unto them again by parables, and said, 2The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son, 3And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come. 4Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage. 5But they made light ofit, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise: 6And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them. 7But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city. 8Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy. 9Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage. 10So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests.11And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment: 12And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. 13Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 14For many are called, but few are chosen.”

**We are waiting for the wedding banquet (The Lord’s return), which we are all being invited to. And with every invitation there are certain requirements when attending; Dress code, event’s agenda, and sometimes certain restrictions of etiquette. In this case, we are to make sure our apparel is appropriate (clean, without any holes or tears), given the instructions on what to expect before the event (knowing what to expect before the Lord’s return through God’s word), and making sure that our apparel is without spot, blemish or tears (we are to live by the word of God and not by the ways of the world which is the opposite of God) **

Luke 13:22-30
“And he went through the cities and villages, teaching, and journeying toward Jerusalem. 23Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them, 24Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. 25When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: 26Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. 27But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity. 28There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out. 29And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God. 30And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last.”

**Jesus is speaking of people knowing of the truth and not being ready for the Lord’s return. It goes to show you that you can go to church for many years and know of Jesus throughout your life, but if there is any blemish on your garment (life) you will not make it in. People say to themselves “no one is perfect” and makes excuses for their sin without committing to change: so they continue in their sins. Many even say, “its just a small sin”; to answer that is, SIN IS SIN and NO SIN WILL ENTER IN TO HEAVEN!**

Galatians 5:19-21
“Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.”

**Enter in at the strait gate, which is a holy life in Christ which leads us to eternal life, and not to walk through the wide gate and broad path in this wicked world, for it will lead to destruction in hell for eternity. **

Matthew 7:13-14
“Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”
Luke 13:24
“Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.”

**If you would like to give your heart to Jesus today, repeat these words below:

'Dear Heavenly Father,i come to in the name of Jesus; Forgive me a sinner and wash me in your precious blood. Make this heart of stone to be made flesh, so that your word may be sown in it. If you have recited these words and meant them in your heart, you are saved and if the Lord would come today, you will be ready to go to Heaven!! I will keep you all in prayer, to continue to walk in the ways of Jesus Christ our Lord. READ, PRAY, SEEK and TRUST in Him and you will overcome this wicked world! **

Jesus is the only way to God

Jesus, The Way To God

“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”

INTRODUCTION

I. THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN GOD AND MAN

A. CONSIDER THE DIFFERENCE...
1. When we consider the nature of God as revealed in the Bible and
nature, we see:
a. One with unlimited power, unlimited wisdom, unlimited
holiness
b. One who is the creator of all things, the sustainer of all
things, the knower of all things
c. One who is eternal, immortal, and invisible
d. Indeed, this Supreme Being fills the entire universe with
His presence
“Am I God at hand, saith the Lord, and not a God afar off? Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? Saith the Lord. Do not I fill heaven and earth? Saith the Lord.”
2. On the other hand, man is...
a. Mortal, finite in knowledge and understanding
b. The created one, sustained by God who supplies all his needs
“God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; Neither is worshipped with men’s hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things; And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation; That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us: for in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.”
B. THE DIFFERENCE IS OVERWHELMING...
1. The difference between God and man is so great, it ought to
overwhelm man with awe
2. Note the reflections of David as expressed in Psalms

{To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.} O LORD, thou hast searched me, and known me.2Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off.3Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways.4For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether.5Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me.6Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it.7Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?8If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.9If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea;10Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.11If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me.12Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee.”

3. In the Bible, whenever man came even close to approaching God
in His Glory, it was terrifying!
a.  E.g., when God first spoke to Moses, he was afraid
“Moreover he said, I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.”
b.  E.g., the Israelites at Mount Sinai were terrified
“And all the people saw the thundering, and the lightnings, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw it, they removed and stood afar off. And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die. And Moses said unto the people, Fear not: for God is come to prove you, and that his fear may be before your faces, that ye sin not. And the people stood afar off, and Moses drew near unto the thick darkness where God was.”

4. How then can man hope to comprehend God and approach Him in a
close relationship during this life?
5. This difficulty was experienced and expressed by Job
“For he is not a man, as I am, that I should answer him, and we should come together in judgment. Neither is there any daysman betwixt us, that might lay his hand upon us both.”
[But what may have been true in Job's day (that there is no "daysman",
or "mediator") is no longer true today!  Jesus is the means by which man
can comprehend God and also approach Him in such a way as to enjoy a
loving relationship with Him!  Let's see how...]

II. HOW JESUS IS THE WAY TO GOD

A. BY HELPING US COMPREHEND GOD...
1. In coming to this earth, Jesus declared or manifested God to us

“No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.”
2. How was Jesus able to "declare" (manifest) God?
a. For one thing, He came to this earth from God, and is the
only one who has truly seen Him
“Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father.”
c.  But also, He is God Himself!
“In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God.”
1) Who is this "Word" that was with God and was God?
2) The One who came in the flesh!
“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”
3) The "Word" was Jesus!
3. Therefore, it is in seeing Jesus that we are able to comprehend
the Father
a.  Just as Jesus told His disciples
“If ye had known me, ye should have known my father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.”
b. In similar fashion, the apostles of Jesus proclaimed that He
was the complete manifestation of God
“For in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.”
“God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;”
4. Yes, it is in Jesus that God is revealed in terms that mortal,
finite man can comprehend and personally relate to
a. Therefore, as we study the gospels, we see Jesus and His
attributes (power, wisdom, holiness, love, mercy, divine
wrath)
b. As we see Jesus, we see God and His attributes!

[But Jesus also provides the way to God...]

B. BY HELPING US APPROACH GOD...
1. This we touched upon in our previous lesson
2. How that by offering Himself as a propitiation for our sins
Jesus has made it possible for a sinful man to approach God who
is supremely holy and just
3. Jesus helps us to approach God in yet another way, as our High
Priest in heaven
a. Though Jesus was truly God (as stated by John and Paul), by
becoming man He fully understands our difficulties
Hebrews 4:14-15
“Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.”
b. With such a wonderful high priest, One who is both God and
has been man, Jesus makes it possible for us to approach God
with great confidence
“Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”
[Yes, through Jesus we can both comprehend God and approach God, making
it possible to have a close relationship with our Heavenly Father,
enjoying all the blessings such a relationship provides!
